Network Connectivity of TE217 Smart Lock

The TE217 smart lock is designed to connect solely to a 2.4GHz network. For the best performance, it is recommended that the lock be positioned within a 10-meter radius of your router.

Smart Home Compatibility

This smart lock is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant devices, enhancing your smart home experience. However, it does not currently support Apple HomeKit, IFTTT, or Matter.

Battery Management

Users will receive a notification when the battery level nears 20%. In the event that the batteries are completely drained, the lock features an emergency Type-C port for a quick charge. Nonetheless, we advise replacing the four AA lithium batteries as soon as possible. The lock also comes with two mechanical keys to ensure emergency access.

Data Security

Your data security is of utmost importance. All information is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in the U.S. We utilize AES256 encryption and SSL technology to safeguard your data, providing bank-grade security.

Door Installation Requirements

Before installing the lock, please refer to the Door Compatibility infographic for precise specifications. The TE217 smart lock is compatible with doors that have a thickness ranging from 1-3/8" to 2" (35mm to 50mm). Additionally, it requires a door hole size of 1-1/2" to 2-1/8" (38mm to 54mm).
